Retailing businesses have also taken advantage of the franchising system to expand themselves to different corners of the world. These retail stores have turned into large corporations by following the franchising model, and occupy a significant proportion of the Top 500 list. (at number 4), Matco Tools (at number 19), Circle K (at number 22), Snap on Tools (at number 24), GNC Franchising (at number 40) and other franchises such as UPS, the Mail Box and Cartridge World. Another industry which has greatly benefitted from the franchising system are the home businesses, and franchising has allowed them major opportunities to expand on a massive scale to different corners of the world.
